I've modified my salutation to a slightly different version of the Adoration:
Holy art Thou, Source of the universe.
Holy art Thou, whom Nature hath not formed.
Holy art Thou, the vast and the mighty One.
Source of the light....
and of the darkness
If the value of the journey far exceeds that value of the destination, then can the ends ever justify the means?
I've often thought if one were to pray to Satan with the same quality as Christ, then you're essentially praying to Christ. If you pray to Christ for self-aggrandizing purposes, then you're essentially praying to Satan. If you pray to Satan for authentic spiritual progress, then you're actually praying to Christ.
I honestly think the intention behind the prayer is more important then the target to the prayer.
We could think of prayer as part of the journey and who is being addressed in part of the destination.
Focus on the journey and not the destination.
